American Composers Project: American Reflections

With the American Composers Project, Dana Zimbric and the California Chamber Orchestra celebrate 250 years of the American Spirit through music. The series is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

This concert features the music of Florence Price. The program includes:

Leonardo Balada (b. 1933): A Little Night Music in Harlem (2006)

Victoria Bond (b. 1945): New York at Night (after paintings by Georgia O’Keeffe)

Mason Bates  (b. 1977): Icarian Rhapsody
